Longniddry

Overview:	Sea location on the Forth; some nasty rocks!
Location:	30 mins East of Edinburgh
Directions:	A1 East out of Edinburgh After about 10 miles, take the exit for A198 (Longniddry) Stay on A198, over the first roundabout 3rd exit at the next roundabout (A198) Go through Longniddry village and keep left on A198 Follow the road down to the T-junction; turn right Car park entrance is 100yards on the left; w'surfers normally stay to the left hand side of the car park, but can sometimes be found over on the far right hand side, depending on conditions.
Notes:	Longniddry is the first place people normally get to coming out of Edinburgh, and can be busy even if there are better places further down the coast. Works well in a South Westerly; just be careful of the line of rocks that runs out from the middle of the carpark; the rocks also protect a sewage pipe.... ho hum. Can be great fun, but if the wind is from the West and it's onshore at Longniddry, keep going down the coast to Gullane.
